Security of client, charity and management information is of considerable concern to us. We have therefore identified our main areas of operational vulnerability and addressed them each in the following ways.

Web hosting

Our choice of web host was based on security and service, more than pure cost. We have chosen 1&1 Internet as our hosts as we believe that they are offering a very robust and cost effective service. The reliability of their service delivery and the level of security is well know throughout the IT fraternity and we hope that our choice of them as our provider, will give confidence to all users.

Money transfer services

Our decision has been to ensure that our outsourced merchant service works to the highest of standards and for that reason, we have contracted Worldpay to provide secure transaction services through their own website.

Our own donor and management data bases

Our server is now hosted by UKFast who provide a level of backup and security which is of such a high standard that they are used to host the data and other material for banks. This replaces our previous arrangement where external backup servicess were provided by Zen and our own resident server with full encryption.
