The Charity Service has announced it is to launch My Gift, the first not-for-profit online fundraising and donation service which will offer a fundraising platform free of charge to UK registered charities.
Michael Colin, Chief Executive of The Charity Service, said it’s big news, not just for the larger charities:
“The Charity Service”**has been working tirelessly on behalf of UK charities for the last 43 years. We’re delighted to announce the launch of www.mygift.org.uk, the next generation of online fundraising platforms which will see every penny possible returned to where it belongs, the charities.”
He added: “It’s great news for charities large or small and means many smaller charities will, at last, be able to benefit via online fundraising, where previously it might cost them more in admin charges or registration fees than was being raised.”
My Gift is set to revolutionalise Charitable Giving!
The Charity Service has announced it is to launch My Gift, the first not-for-profit online fundraising and donation service which will offer a fundraising platform free of charge to UK registered charities.
Unlike other, online fundraising and donation services with commercial interests or links, such as Just Giving, Be My Charity (and the anticipated Virgin Money Giving), www.mygift.org.uk will offer free onsite advertising to charities and there will be no set up or admin charges; meaning £’millions worth of charges to charities could be avoided.
