QHow Do I create an Appeal on MyGift ?
AYou will need to register with My Gift before you can make your first donation. This is due to legal requirements, we do not pass your details to any third parties.
If you already have alogon ID please login using the login option at the top right of the screen.
If you are not yet registered with My Gift you can Register here, for FREE, then you can either select a charity and donate directly, or search for an appeal and donate via that appeal.
QHow Do I register as a User on MyGift ?
A
- Google the website www.mygift.org.uk
- Click on the Login in right hand corner of website next to the padlock.
- Click on the last option in the window Register.
- Fill out the fields as in the example set out below:‐
- When you have completed all the required fields click on the Register button at the bottom of the page.
- You will then automatically receive an email from MyGift asking you to activate your account by clicking on the link provided within the email. This will take you back to the home page of the MyGift website.
- Use your user name and password to login.

QI can't find my charity. Can I still donate to it?
AYes - simply suggest the charity for iclusion in the My Gift charity listing here..., you do not need to be logged in to My Gift to do this.
Please provide as much information as possible.
The My Gift team will verify the charity and contact you once it has been added.
QI work for a charity can I update the information?
AYes - every charity has an account created for maintenance by the My Gift team, sent to the main contact identified on the Charity information page. Please let this person know the updates need to be made. If the contact information is no longer valid please contact the My Gift team.
QHow Do I register a Chairity on MyGift ?
A
- Google the website www.mygift.org.uk
- Register as a user by clicking on Login in right hand corner next to padlock.
- Locate Donate to a Charity on the right hand side of the home page.
- Click on the button titled Suggest a Charity
- A new window will open titled Create a Charity
- Fill out the fields as in the example set out below:‐
- When you have completed all the required fields click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
- We will seek verification by email that the new charity wishes to be active on the MyGift website and will request a contact name and email address of the individual responsible for administering the charity account.

QHow Do I create an Appeal on MyGift ?
A
- Google the website www.mygift.org.uk
- Register as a user by clicking on Login in right hand corner next to padlock.
- Locate Create an Appeal on the left hand side of the home page.
- Click on the button titled Create an Appeal
- A new window will open titled Create Your Appeal
- Fill out the fields as in the example set out below:‐
- Upload any images that you wish to appear on the appeal page – up to a maximum of three. Please use a jpeg format.
- Add the wording for your appeal in the text box titled Information. Use the formatting palette to change the font type, alignment and style of your wording.
- Add the wording for your thank you message in text box titled Thanks Message.
- Click on the button titled Save Appeal.
